iPhone 16 Launch Date Revealed in New Leaked Poster: Expected Date, Time, and Everything We Know So Far

iPhone 16

Apple's next-generation iPhone, the iPhone 16, is expected to debut next month, following Apple's typical annual release schedule. As usual, the company has maintained its characteristic secrecy, and official details are unlikely to surface until Apple sends out its formal invitations.

However, a new leak from well-known tipster Majin Bu has surfaced, revealing what appears to be the event poster for the iPhone 16 launch. According to Bu, Apple plans to unveil four new iPhone models, alongside other hardware products, during an event at Apple Park on September 10 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The leaked poster prominently displays the words: "Ready. Set. Capture." Beneath this, the invitation reads: "Join us in person for a special event at the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park."

This isn’t the first time that September 10 has been floated as the potential launch date for the iPhone 16 series. Earlier, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman hinted in his Power On newsletter that Apple may stick to last year’s release pattern, also pointing to September 10 as the likely date.

AirPods 4 to Debut Alongside iPhone 16

In a separate report, Gurman revealed that Apple plans to launch the AirPods 4 during the iPhone 16 event on September 10. The AirPods 4 will come in two versions, serving as successors to AirPods 2 and AirPods 3, with similar design features. The main distinction between the entry-level and mid-range models will be active noise cancellation (ANC), which will be included in the mid-range model but omitted in the entry-level version. These new AirPods 4 models will differ from the upcoming AirPods Pro 3, which are slated for release later this year.
