Zomato: New Group Ordering feature!
Zomato has launched a new feature to make group food ordering easier for friends, family, and colleagues. The popular food delivery app now offers a Group Ordering feature, allowing users to share a link with others so they can add their selections directly to the cart.
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal announced the feature on X (formerly known as Twitter), saying, "Exciting new weekend update: Group Ordering is now on Zomato!" He added, "No more awkwardly passing the phone around to gather everyone's orders."
Here what Deepinder Goyal "Zomato" CEO posted on X about Group Ordering
"Exciting new weekend update: Group Ordering is now on Zomato! You can now share a link with your friends, and everyone can add to the cart seamlessly, making ordering together faster and easier. No more passing the phone around awkwardly to collect everyone's order"
Here what the user had to say about the new feature:
"How about scheduling orders? Will help the restaurants also and for us foodies to satisfy our cravings for a later time"
This is a great suggestion, I would love to have this feature so that I can my day accordingly and set up some scheduled orders, so that I don't forget it.
"This is a nice feature to have, Deepinder 😊 Now, i don't need to call my brother at his office to ask what he would like to have from the menu of a restaurant.. The payment split would be good to have too , though I believe it will be used occasionally 😀"
“Suggestions --> Payment splitting can also be added”
